There have been a ton of baby animals born at the Denver Zoo recently. The Tiger Cubs are still not on display, but you can go see the baby giraffe ‘’Cricket’’. Born on April 14th, Cricket is already 6’4’’. She can be seen in the Giraffe Yard.

Here are some facts that you might not know about Giraffes:

Each giraffe has a unique coat pattern, no two have the same spots.

Giraffes sleep for less than 30 minutes every 24 hours.

Giraffes typically live for 20-25 years.

Have you gone to see the calf yet?
